Pretreatment of milk:
After unloading, the total delivered raw milk will be cleaned in the centrifuge and separated in skim milk and cream. After the pasteurisation the required fat content will be adjusted.
The right mix is important:
Depending on the specification, the basic substance will be mixed from milk, cream and permeate with an automatic mixing system. In the evaporator, under vacuum, the water will be withdrawn from the basic mix (DM content about 45%).
Further processing into milk powder:
The concentrate is then sprayed onto - from inside heated - rollers. After one rotation the powder (residual moisture content 3%) will be scraped off with a knife and blown pneumatically into silos.
